Ami Lynn Knous Meredosia - Ami Lynn Knous, 56 of Meredosia, died Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at her home. She was born April 4, 1968 in Beardstown, the daughter of Sherry Lynn Campbell. She married Kevin Knous on May 19, 1989 and he survives. She is also survived by three daughters and a son Haley Knous (companion Butch Anderson) of Meredosia, Hannah Knous of Meredosia, Peyton Knous of Beardstown, and Parker Knous of Meredosia; a grandson Ayden Gerecke; a granddaughter Ainsley Anderson; an aunt Sondra Walters of Meredosia; an numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, her maternal grandparents Ora and Imogene Hirte Campbell, her paternal grandparents Margaret and Jack Hatfield, two aunts Betty Lovekamp and Dorothy Swan, and her "three-legged schneagle" Lily. Ami attended Beardstown High School with the class of 1986 and attended Spoon River Community College, where she received her LPN while working in a nursing home in the surrounding area.
