Lee Allen Burrus Arenzville - Lee Allen Burrus, 73, of Arenzville, died Thursday, June 13, 2024, in Jacksonville. He was born April 21, 1951, in Jacksonville, the son of Robert L. and E. Marie Jurgens Burrus. He was preceded in death by his parents and a canine friend, Kuper. He is survived by cousins. Mr. Burrus was a graduate of Triopia High School and Western Illinois University. He farmed for many years with his father near Arenzville. Mr. Burrus was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church near Chapin. He served on the Board of Directors of the First National Bank of Arenzville for 36 years, following his father's footsteps who served on the board for 34 years. He gave 42 years of serving as a volunteer on the Arenzville Fire Protection District and also served on the Arenzville Burgoo Committee. Lee was a noted car enthusiast amassing a diverse car collection with a special interest in Edsels. He enjoyed an annual trip with the Edsel Owners Club, which would meet all over the Unit
