JOYCE ELAINE FEIGL


Joyce Elaine Feigl, 86, of Beardstown, died Saturday, February 22, 2025 at her home.
She was born July 27, 1938 in East St. Louis, the daughter of Harvey and Pauline Groce Moodey. She married Alois A. "Louie" Feigl on July 4, 1958 and he preceded her in death on February 3, 2019.
She is survived by three sons Mike (wife Kathi) of Rose Hill, KS, Mark (wife Christy) of Rushville, and Mat (wife Diana) Feigl of Virginia; a granddaughter raised as her daughter Krista Feigl, eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson Tyler Feigl, a sister Joanne Wagner, a brother Dale Moodey, and a nephew Richie Wagner.
In her younger years, Joyce attended schools in East St. Louis and worked in several department stores before marrying her husband. In 1972, they moved to Beardstown to open Feigl's Grocery Store, with a second location in Rushville. Joyce dedicated herself to takin
